Installation
FreeInstall StoreMCP on your WordPress site in under two minutes.
StoreMCP is a standard WordPress plugin. You can install it the same way you install anything from the plugin directory.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.2 or newer
- PHP 7.4 or newer (PHP 8.1+ recommended)
- WooCommerce 7.0+ (optional — only needed for commerce tools)
- HTTPS (required for remote MCP connections)
Works with HPOS
StoreMCP is fully compatible with WooCommerce High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS / custom order tables).
Install from wordpress.org
The easiest path — install directly from your WordPress admin:
- In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New
- Search for StoreMCP
- Click Install Now, then Activate
That's it. After activation you'll see a new StoreMCP menu item in your admin sidebar.
Install from ZIP
If you downloaded the plugin as a ZIP file (Pro or Agency):
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the
storemcp.zipfile - Click Install Now, then Activate
Install via WP-CLI
wp plugin install storemcp --activate
Activate your Pro license
If you have a Pro or Agency license, activate it from StoreMCP → License:
StoreMCP → License → Enter license key → Activate
Licenses auto-renew annually. You can deactivate a license on one site and move it to another at any time.
